HOW TO MAKE OR PREPARE SPICY CAULIFLOWER CURRY RECIPE
Wash the cauliflower thoroughly and separate the florets. Boil the florets in water for 5-6 minutes with salt added to it. Then drain the water completely and keep the boiled florets aside.
Heat oil in a pan on a medium flame. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves and allow them to splutter. Then add chopped onions and saute till they become translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and stir fry for a minute till the raw smell goes away.
Add chopped tomatoes and cover the pan with a lid and cook on a low flame till the tomatoes become little mushy and soft. Then add boiled cauliflower florets and mix well. Close the pan with a lid. Bring the flame to medium and cook for another 4-5 minutes till florets are well mixed with the onion-tomato mixture.
Once done, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix well. Saute till the oil separates from the curry. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Switch off the flame. Remove them in a serving bowl.
Serve spicy cauliflower curry hot with rotis, rice, bread or even as a stuffing for dosas or sandwiches.
