Mango popsicles – how to make homemade mango popsicles recipe – summer recipes

Mango popsicle is a refreshing summer popsicle recipe made with fresh ripe mangoes, sugar and water.  It is very easy and quick to make too, except for the freezing time of 7-8 hours.    Mango popsicles are a great summer treat for kids and elders alike.  Popsicles are good to beat the heat and hydrate our body.  Do try this delicious mango popsicle this summer season and enjoy!!

Prep Time : 20 mins

Freezing time :  8 hours

Yield :  3 popsicles

INGREDIENTS

Ripe mango – 1

Sugar – 2 tablespoons

Cardamom powder – 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Water – 1/4 cup

HOW TO MAKE OR PREPARE HOMEMADE MANGO POPSICLES RECIPE

Peel the mango and chop them into medium pieces.  In a mixer grinder or blender, add the chopped mangoes, sugar, cardamom powder and water.

Blend until smooth.  Pour the mixture into the popsicle moulds.

Cover the mould with its lid and freeze in a deep freezer, till it becomes firm or fully set.  Once set, run the moulds under running water for few seconds to loosen the mango popsicles from its mould.  Enjoy delicious and healthy mango popsicles this summer with your loved ones!!

NOTES/TIPS

You can also add milk instead of water at the time of blending the mangoes.
