Apple milkshake recipe – How to make apple milkshake recipe

Apple milkshake – a nutritious and quick milkshake made with apples, milk and sugar and flavoured with cardamom powder.  It is one easy milkshake which can be made in a jiffy.  Apple along with chilled milk also helps to overcome acidity.  This is a popular milkshake especially during fasting, as it keeps you hydrated.

Prep Time : 15 mins

Servings : 2 persons


Green or regular apples – 2 (medium sized)

Chilled milk – 2 cups

Sugar – 4 tablespoons

Cardamom powder – 1/4 teaspoon


Peel the apples and remove the seeds.  Chop them into medium pieces.

Take a blender jar and  blend the chopped apple pieces with little chilled milk.

Then add the rest of the milk, sugar and cardamom powder.  Blend all the ingredients until smooth.

Pour the apple milkshake to  serving glasses and serve chilled.



Always serve milkshakes immediately as they are fresh.

You can also sprinkle little cinnamon powder before serving.

You can also add soaked almonds to make it more nutritious.  Soak 10-12 almonds  for 4-5 hours and blend them with the other ingredients.  You can reduce the amout of milk in that case, as the almonds will give thickness to the milkshake.

Add ice-cubes at the time of serving.
