Apple chocolate smoothie is a healthy and quick smoothie recipe made with apple, milk, cocoa powder and sugar. It is an ideal drink for kids as well, as it is tasty as well as healthy. INGREDIENTS
Apple – 1 (big sized)
Chilled milk – 2 cups
Unsweetened cocoa powder – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 4 teaspoons or adjust as per taste
Choco or chocolate chips – 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
HOW TO MAKE OR PREPARE APPLE SMOOTHIE RECIPE
Wash and chop the apple into medium pieces. Take a blender or mixer and add the chopped apples, sugar, cocoa powder and choco chips. First add little milk and blend to a smooth paste.
Add the remaining milk and blend until smooth or frothy. Pour into serving glass and sprinkle cocoa powder on top. Serve chilled.
NOTES/TIPS
It is best served chilled and immediately.
You can also add few chopped almonds for a healthier version.
You can garnish with choco chips, finely chopped apple pieces or nuts.
