Apple chocolate smoothie is a healthy and quick smoothie recipe made with apple, milk, cocoa powder and sugar.  It is an ideal drink for kids as well, as it is tasty as well as healthy.  Apple goes well with chocolate and milk along with apples provides nutrition as well as taste.  Do try this healthy drink and enjoy !!

INGREDIENTS

Apple – 1 (big sized)

Chilled milk – 2 cups

Unsweetened cocoa powder – 1 teaspoon

Sugar – 4 teaspoons or adjust as per taste

Choco or chocolate chips – 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

HOW TO MAKE OR PREPARE APPLE SMOOTHIE RECIPE

Wash and chop the apple into medium pieces.  Take a blender or mixer and add the chopped apples, sugar, cocoa powder and choco chips.  First add little milk and blend to a smooth paste.

Add the remaining milk and blend until smooth or frothy.  Pour into serving glass and sprinkle cocoa powder on top.  Serve chilled.

NOTES/TIPS

It is best served chilled and immediately.

You can also add few chopped almonds for a healthier version.

You can garnish with choco chips, finely chopped apple pieces or nuts.
