Thalipeeth is a very popular and delicious multigrain pancake from Maharashtra. The dough is prepared from different flours like rice flour, gram flour or bajra flour. Onions, fresh vegetables, coriander leaves and spices are then added to it while kneading the flour. Thalipeeth is generally served with curd or pickle. Here in this recipe I have added cucumber to the flours and mixed with spices. Cucumber gives a cooling effect to our body especially during summer season.
Medu vada recipe
Medu vada is a very popular and favourite dish in South India. Medu means soft and hence the name as medu vada means soft vadas. Medu vadas are made with urad dal batter which is spiced with green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, black pepper and salt. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and a hole in the centre is the important highlight of medu vadas. Medu vadas are a tradional South Indian dish which can be served as a side dish or snack with sambar or coconut chutney as an accompaniment. Urad dal is soaked for 4-5 hrs and ground to a smooth paste. There is no need for fermentation as the batter can be used for making vadas immediately.

Raw banana dosa or balekayi dosa recipe
Raw banana or balekayi dosa is a very different dosa since it is made with raw banana. This dosa is very tasty and easy to make and best served with sambar or coconut chutney. Raw banana dosa is made with just 3 ingredients , raw rice, raw banana and coconut. The batter does not need to be fermented. They are vegan and very healthy too.
Palak paratha
Palak paratha is a very healthy and nutritious dish made with spinach, wheat flour and mild spices. It is a good option for breakfast as palak or spinach has lot of fibre and other essential vitamins and minerals. Spinach leaves are pureed and mixed with wheat flour which gives a lovely green colour to the parathas. Palak paratha is best served with thick curd or tomato pickle or any pickle of your choice.
