Corn pakoda recipe – how to make sweet corn pakoras/pakodas recipes – Indian snacks recipes

Corn pakoda is a quick and easy snack made with sweet corns, gramflour, onions and spices.  It is a deep fried snack which can be served as a  tea time snack or as a starter along with green chutney or tomato ketchup.  In this recipe, I have used frozen sweet corns, but you can also use the fresh or regular corns, if it is available in the market.  Corn pakoras or fritters is an ideal snack during monsoons and goes well with a nice hot cup of tea.

NOTES /TIPS

Add green chillies according to the spiciness required by you.  You can also add little red chilli powder.

Add little rice flour if you want a little crisp pakoras.

You can also add garam masala or chaat masala to the mixture before deep frying, for a more enhanced flavour.

Do not overcrowd the pan by adding too many balls of corn mixture.
