Soyabean curry recipe
Soyabean curry is a healthy and delicious curry prepared with soyabeans and makes up for an excellent accompaniment for rotis and rice. This curry is very simple and quick to make too. Soyabean is a great source of protein and hence is a very healthy curry. Do try to include this healthy curry in your daily diet.

INGREDIENTS
Soyabeans – 1 1/2 cups
Onions – 2 (chopped finely)
Tomatoes – 4 (chopped finely)
Cooking oil – 3 tablespoons
Cumin seeds/jeera – 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Green chillies – 4 (slit vertically)
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Salt to taste
Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
HOW TO MAKE/PREPARE SOYABEAN CURRY RECIPE
Wash the soyabean thoroughly and soak them in water for 7-8 hours or overnight. Next day, discard the water if it is frothy and rinse again 2-3 times.
Pressure cook the soyabeans with sufficient water and salt added to it for 4-5 whistles or till soft.
Add oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter. Then add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and chopped onions and saute till the onions become little translucent.
Then add chopped tomatoes and cook on a medium flame till they become little soft. Add turmeric powder, salt and coriander powder and mix well.
Add cooked soyabeans and garam masala and combine together. Adjust water accordingly and cook with the pan closed on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes. Then switch off the flame.
Add lemon juice and mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve soyabean curry hot with rotis, rice or plain bread.
