Pav bhaji is an Indian fast food dish that originated in Mumbai cuisine. While Bhaji is a traditional Indian name for a vegetable dish, the Pav means the Indian bread. The pav-bhaji is a spicy preparation with a mixture of vegetables, which are mashed alongwith a generous dose of fresh tomatoes, a dollop of butter. It is then served with warm bread which is fried in butter. It is an all-time favourite with Mumbaikars. It is now become popular in all the metro cities in India.
